How does Connected Care differ from traditional IT outsourcing?

First, Connected Care is completely customizable to match your company's business needs and goals. As Connected Care assumes more responsibility for managing your IT systems, and as your company agrees to implement tools designed to prevent or eliminate problems, we become true partners: We both have a stake in making sure your network is trouble free, efficient, effective and helps drive the success of your business. This partnership is far more effective and much more sustainable than traditional outsourcing.

Would my IT system performance improve with Connected Care?

As part of our Best Practices Assessment, your system components will be assessed, the IT environment will be stabilized, and all elements will be brought up to speed with current industry best practices, improving system performance. Following the assessment, ongoing preventive care will maintain high system performance and DocuTech will continue to provide expert guidance on IT issues.

Do all the Connected Care services really cost the same or less as my break-fix approach?

Your break-fix approach can be more expensive in terms of maintenance costs, downtime and lost productivity. However, it's not about more or less cost. Instead, it's about a different and better outcome with a better return on investment.

Change is difficult. Is there a way to ease into Connected Care gradually?

Yes, we can do a Best Practices Assessment and plan an incremental path toward a complete Connected Care plan. However, once you make the switch to a proactive IT approach, you will immediately recognize the value of preventing catastrophic events and understand how the vision of logical IT development will help your company achieve its strategic business goals.

If DocuTech is managing my IT systems, what will be the role of my IT staff?

Your staff can quit spending time on maintenance issues and instead focus on creating value for your business through IT systems.

How does the tracking and reporting process work?

Seven days a week, 24 hours a day, Connected Care tracks and reports on server hardware problems, server operating system issues and can do the same for your applications. Our round-the-clock help desk is able to resolve most software issues and identify hardware problems.

How do I find out if there's an issue with my technology systems?

This Connected Care process is defined by you. An error in your custom application can be escalated to you. A hardware failure can be escalated to the manufacturer. A server OS failure can be escalated to DocuTech. Within this process you can identify a second source - you, for example - to be kept in the loop on the status of the problem resolution.
